PRESENTATION OF THE VILLAGE Cupramontana was built during the V-VI century in the Preroman period. Its name comes from the religious cult of the goddess Cupra ( for Piceni’s population, Venus for the Romans). The small town has a lot of interesting buildings and monuments which have a particular religious and artistic importance. It is also called “ the capital of Verdicchio”, which is the refined white wine obtained by the local grapes. It is the main protagonist of important cultural events (at the “Etichetta Museum” for example ) but most of all the eno-gastronomic kermesse: sagra dell’Uva..
